Events

We will use the new website for all new events and ticket sales. For events where the signups were already open before the launch, we will continue to use the old website in this transition period.

Merch

We will not yet use the new website for selling merch, for this you can use the old webshop. All the technical components are in place for selling merch, we still need to develop the layout and pages that will allow you to buy merch via the new website, stay tuned!

Content

The website committee delivers the technical backbone of the website. This backbone is responsible for all the logic and functionality. The website committee also delivers the templates that make up the layout. The committee is however not taking care of the content that makes up the website. The board can access and edit the content of the website without using any code or touching any templates. Promoters can also get access to edit certain parts of content.

Technical information

The website is created using the Django framework, all code is written in Python. We use Wagtail as a Content Management System (CMS). We use HTML and CSS for the templates that make up the layout.
